Hand picked and transported in the cases of 20kg capacity. All the grapes were selected carefully in the vineyard and the cellar. Skin contact, followed by alcoholic fermentation was took in place in the stainless tanks for 21 days (Garnacha) and 25 days (Samso). The wine was matured in French (Garnacha) and American oak barrels (Samso) for 14 months, followed by malolactic fermentation. After light filtration, wine was bottled in March 2014.
The wine has deep black cherry color with good concentration. On nose, it is shay at the beginning and would need a time to show its potential. It is fruity; ripe berries, prune, with a hint of spice and balsamic note. Remarkable mineral note of the schist soil. On palate, attack is subtle and acidity is well balanced. The note of red fruit and toast of oak aging make a beautiful harmony. Tannin is smooth, fruity and corpulent. Finish is long and elegant. Fine the mineral note stays on palate.
